Performance Profile:

• Resources in this role have experience in governmental financial management, general ledger accounting, or financial internal controls. A CPA, CIA or MBA is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Understand federal financial accounting concepts.
• Responsible for reconciling budgetary & proprietary accounting data.
• Responsible for working with client personnel in functional accounting areas to assist in recommending and assisting with the implementation of corrective action plans.
• Responsible to focus on areas including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, and Projects.

Position-specific Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience with Federal Government accounting and/or use of an automated federal financial system, such as Oracle Federal Financials
• 2+ years of Internal Controls Reviews or Financial Auditing experience.
• 2+ years of experience with analytical and problem solving skills.
• The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to obtain a security clearance that requires US Citizenship

Position-specific Desired Skills:

• Experience in FMS Oracle Federal Financials and/or Government Accounting concepts and rules.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills, which demonstrates confidence and fosters a Trusted Advisor relationship with the client.
• Potential duration – contract is one year with potential for follow-on.
