Performance Profile:
• Consultant to serve aa Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a small BearingPoint team providing support to an Army logistics element at Fort Lewis, WA. Incumbent must have a background in maintenance, supply, asset visibility, property book, transportation or logistics automation systems. Individual must be capable of providing high level analysis and support to integrated logistics plans, policies, and procedures. Individual will be required to document the analysis results in a report format and be capable of making recommendations based on the analysis. Incumbent must have at least a working knowledge of standard Army logistics management information systems.

Position-specific Required Skills:
• The individual must have specific logistics experience at an Army Division, Corps, or theatre level.
• This position requires a Bachelors degree in general management or other relevant field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in material, maintenance management, and distribution procedures.
• The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to obtain a security clearance that requires US Citizenship

Position-specific Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with the Army Sustainment Command and its Distribution Management Teams
• Competency in the following areas of logistics management: 1) materiel maintenance management, 2) major end item (class VII) management, 3) repair parts (Class IX) management
• Experience in readiness tracking or reporting
• Familiarity with logistics information systems
• Logistics Plans experience
• STAMIS experience, including SARSS, ULLS, and SPBS
• Experience as a multi-functional logistician
• Strong candidate would be a former military officer in the rank of Captain or Major, Warrant Officer, or Senior NCO.

Logistics:
• Up to 10% travel required.
