Performance Profile:

Servethe lead for developing the components of a draft RFP for a government client. Must possess knowledge of procurement and acquisition concepts and methodologies pertaining to deployment of statements of work, cost estimates, contract deliverables, standards, and source selection criteria for information technology systems. Individual must be familiar with FAR/DFARS/AFARS. Individual will be required to prepare a draft RFP development plan and to coordinate preparation of the components of the RFP with the government. Results will be integrated into the program acquisition strategy and delivered to the government client for finalization.

Position-specific Required Skills:
• This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, Masters desired.
• Must have 3 to 6 years directly relevant procurement or acquisition planning experience.
• Familiarity with DoD contracting and procurement processes and procedures required. Knowledge of DoD 5000 and AR 70-1 desired.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work with minimum of supervision and direction and to coordinate a team to produce deliverables on time and of acceptable quality.
• The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to obtain a security clearance that requires US Citizenship

Position-specific Desired Skills:
• Strong candidate would be a former acquisition officer or contract specialist with experience planning and executing competitive IT procurements.

Logistics:
• Up to 10% travel required.
