Performance Profile:
*Thirole will be responsible for supporting the management of large IT programs for a Federal agency. Requires proven project management skills specifically as a Project Manager or staff member of a large Program or Project Management Office.

*The person fulfilling this role will deploy project management processes and tools, provide project management training, and provide expert advice concerning industry best-practices and compliance with recognized industry standards in project management execution and project management office deployment.

*Top performing team members in this position display the strong leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills required to drive sound project management standards compliance across the project team. Applicant should display advanced technical skills in configuring, deploying, and operating project management applications that automate project management processes.

*Persons in this role will be expected to work with junior program management support staff, leading them in project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and/or risk identification. Team member will establish a project management office to establish and deploy effective project management processes, tools, and metrics. Person will conduct project management activities throughout the lifecycle of each project with additional focus on schedule management.

*Person in this role will be expected to contribute to business development activities by identifying new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, and supporting client facing sales activities.

*Person in this role will have frequent end-client interaction. Exceptional team members in this role provide outstanding client deliverables. Team member interacts with client as necessary to develop deliverables, communicate expectations, and successfully deliver high-value deliverables. Strong performance and exceptional skills lead to team member becoming client’s trusted advisor in the proper management of the project.

Position-specific Required Skills:
*Active Top Secret Clearance Required
*US Citizenship Required
*Bachelors degree in business, economics, project management, management, accounting (finance), computer science, information technology or engineering required
* 6+ years in program/project management functions
* At least 5 years working as a Project Manager or within a large Program Management Office utilizing recognized best practices such as the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge
* Minimum 3+ years experience in planning and tracking projects/programs with tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Clarity (Niku), etc.

Position-specific Desired Skills:
* Advanced knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, Processes and Templates Knowledge of federal real property leasing and construction desirable, but not required
* Advanced degree (MS, MBA or MPA) preferred
* Knowledge of Earned Value Management metrics and systems
* PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification strongly preferred
* 1+ years of Business development and proposal writing experience
* 1+ years experience working within or supporting federal law enforcement or intelligence agencies
* Demonstrated ability to understand customers business needs, and develop, present and discuss IT solutions and scenarios that solve customers business problems
